Brookline is holding Climate Week 2016 from March 28 to April 3. Sponsored by Climate Action, this is the sixth annual event.
With the commitment of dozens of groups and volunteers, Climate Action offers a purposeful program focused on personal, local, state, and national climate action. This presents timely opportunities for citizens of all ages through a series of events over the course of one week. All events are free and open to the public.
From Monday night’s kick off with Mara Prentiss’s vision - "Mobilizing the Energy Revolution" - " to Sunday afternoon’s session - "What Voters Need To Know: Our Climate and the Elections of 2016" with Michael Dukakis - the week is packed with opportunities for making real change.
Please save the dates and pass this on to your networks in and beyond Brookline to achieve a future we all want and deserve. It takes the efforts of many for the climate movement to sustain and ultimately prevail. Support from Town Meeting Members is an important part of the effort.
